The challenge
A World Bank-funded climate-hazard programme carried significant environmental-assessment requirements and regulatory approvals on its critical path. Those approval lead times were not modelled in the baseline, so the programme's headline dates were optimistic by construction. And the funder had no realistic view of when delivery would actually occur.
Our approach
Project Assure mapped the approval dependencies onto the schedule as first-class critical-path drivers, rebuilt the baseline against realistic approval and environmental-clearance lead times, and ran a quantitative risk analysis to produce P50 and P80 completion scenarios the funder could plan and report against.
