The challenge
A major rail programme entered significant dispute. Design-change events and third-party interface delays formed the bulk of contested extension-of-time entitlement, but the contractor's internal reporting had lost credibility: the programme could no longer show, defensibly, what had caused the delay or who was responsible.
Our approach
Project Assure produced a forensic windows (time-slice) analysis grounded in the contemporaneous Primavera P6 record and aligned to the SCL Delay & Disruption Protocol. Each critical-delay window was characterised against real events, and employer-risk design-change impacts were separated from concurrent contractor-risk causes: the distinction on which entitlement, and prolongation cost, ultimately turns.
